Kitchcraft — Payment Policy

Last Updated: September 11, 2026

Welcome to Kitchcraft. This Payment Policy explains the payment methods accepted by Kitchcraft, the currency used for purchases, sales tax, payment processing, billing information, payment verification, secure payment practices, failed or declined transactions, refunds, payment disputes, and other payment-related matters.

1. Accepted Payment Methods

Kitchcraft accepts eligible payment cards through the payment methods available at checkout. The following card networks are accepted:

Visa
Mastercard
American Express
Discover

Payment-method availability may depend on transaction eligibility, payment-provider requirements, and the payment options available during checkout.

2. Card Payment Information

When customers select a card payment method, they may be required to provide information necessary to authorize and process the transaction.

This may include:

  • Cardholder name
  • Card number
  • Expiration date
  • Security code or CVV
  • Billing address
  • ZIP or postal code
  • Other information required for payment verification

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the payment information provided is accurate and belongs to an authorized payment method.

3. Currency Used

Kitchcraft uses United States Dollar (USD) as the primary store currency.

Customers should review the final order total displayed at checkout before completing payment.

If a bank or card issuer performs currency conversion, applicable exchange rates or foreign-transaction charges may be determined by that financial institution or payment provider.

4. Sales Tax

Applicable sales tax may be calculated and added to an order where required by applicable tax rules.

The applicable amount may depend on the delivery destination and relevant state or local requirements.

Any applicable sales tax will be displayed as part of the checkout total before the customer completes payment.

5. Order Total

The final amount charged for an order may include:

  • Product price
  • Applicable sales tax
  • Shipping charges
  • Other applicable amounts clearly disclosed during checkout

Customers should review the complete order summary before submitting payment.

6. Payment Processing

When an order is submitted, the selected payment method is sent through the applicable payment-processing system for authorization and processing.

Payment Process

  1. The customer submits the order.
  2. Payment information is submitted through the checkout system.
  3. The applicable payment provider reviews the transaction.
  4. The transaction may be approved, declined, or require additional verification.
  5. If approved, the order proceeds according to Kitchcraft's order-processing procedures.

Payment providers may apply their own authorization, security, fraud-prevention, and processing procedures.

7. Payment Authorization

Payment authorization confirms that the selected payment method may be used for the transaction.

Authorization does not necessarily mean that every stage of order fulfillment has been completed.

If payment cannot be successfully authorized or processed, the order may not be completed.

8. Secure Payments

Kitchcraft uses the Shopify checkout and applicable payment-processing infrastructure to process customer transactions.

Payment systems may use security measures such as:

  • Encryption
  • Fraud detection
  • Payment verification
  • Security checks
  • Authentication procedures
  • Additional card authentication where applicable
Security Reminder: Kitchcraft does not ask customers to send complete card numbers, CVV codes, passwords, or other sensitive payment credentials through ordinary customer-support communications.

9. Payment Card Security

Customers should never send complete payment-card information through:

  • Email
  • Social media messages
  • Public comments
  • Unsecured messages
  • Ordinary customer-support communications

Payment information should be entered through the official Kitchcraft checkout or applicable secure payment interface.

10. Billing Information

Customers are responsible for providing accurate billing information when required during checkout.

This may include:

  • Full name
  • Billing address
  • ZIP or postal code
  • Payment-card information
  • Other information required by the payment provider

Incorrect billing information may cause a transaction to fail or require additional verification.

11. Payment Verification

For security and fraud-prevention purposes, a payment may be subject to additional verification.

Verification may be required when:

  • The payment provider identifies unusual transaction activity.
  • Billing information requires additional confirmation.
  • The card issuer requests authentication.
  • The transaction requires additional security verification.
  • A payment provider identifies a potential security risk.

12. Payment Verification Requests

If additional verification is required, customers may need to complete the verification requested by their bank, card issuer, or payment provider.

If required verification cannot be completed, the payment may not be authorized.

Kitchcraft does not control verification decisions made by banks, card issuers, or payment providers.

13. Failed Payments

Possible causes of a failed payment include:

  • Incorrect card information
  • Incorrect billing information
  • Expired card
  • Insufficient available funds or credit
  • Bank restrictions
  • Card restrictions
  • Security or fraud checks
  • Online transaction restrictions
  • Payment-provider errors
  • Incomplete authentication
  • Card issuer decline
  • Other payment-processing issues

14. Declined Payments

A declined payment means that the transaction was not successfully authorized by the applicable payment system.

Customers may:

  • Verify the card details.
  • Confirm billing information.
  • Check the card expiration date.
  • Confirm sufficient funds or credit.
  • Contact the card issuer.
  • Try another accepted payment method.

15. Duplicate or Multiple Payment Attempts

Customers should avoid repeatedly submitting payment when they are unsure whether a transaction has already been processed.

If a customer believes they were charged more than once for the same order, they should contact Kitchcraft Customer Support with the order details.

16. Payment Pending Status

Some transactions may temporarily appear as pending while the payment provider, bank, or card issuer completes authorization or processing.

A pending authorization does not necessarily mean that Kitchcraft has received final payment.

17. Payment Provider and Processing Fees

Payment processing may involve fees charged to Kitchcraft by the applicable payment provider.

Kitchcraft does not add an undisclosed payment-processing fee to an order. Any applicable customer charges forming part of the order total will be shown during checkout where required.

18. Refunds

Approved refunds are processed according to the Kitchcraft Returns & Refunds Policy.

Once a return has been reviewed and approved, the applicable refund is submitted through the payment gateway or payment provider used for the original transaction.

Approved refunds are generally sent to the original payment method.

19. Refund Processing Time

Kitchcraft Refund Processing: Within 14 days after the return has been approved.

This timeframe refers to Kitchcraft's processing of an approved refund.

After Kitchcraft submits the refund, the time required for funds to appear in the customer's account may depend on the payment provider, bank, card issuer, or financial institution.

20. Original Payment Method

Approved refunds are normally returned to the payment method originally used for the order.

Original Payment Refund Method
Visa Original eligible Visa payment method
Mastercard Original eligible Mastercard payment method
American Express Original eligible American Express payment method
Discover Original eligible Discover payment method

21. Failed Refunds

A refund may fail or remain pending because of payment-provider or financial-institution issues.

Possible reasons may include:

  • Payment-provider error
  • Original transaction limitations
  • Closed or restricted payment account
  • Bank rejection
  • Payment-provider processing issue
  • Other provider-specific restrictions

If an expected refund has not been received after the applicable processing period, contact Kitchcraft Customer Support.

22. Expired or Replaced Payment Cards

If a payment card used for an order has expired, been replaced, or been canceled before an approved refund is issued, the payment provider or card issuer may have its own process for handling the refund.

Customers may need to contact their card issuer if a refund has been processed but does not appear on the replacement card or account.

23. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

Customers should contact Kitchcraft Customer Support first if they have questions about:

  • A payment
  • Order amount
  • Duplicate charges
  • Refunds
  • Payment status
  • Order cancellation
  • A transaction they do not understand

Where appropriate, Kitchcraft will review the available order and payment information.

24. Unauthorized Transactions

If a customer believes their payment card was used without authorization, they should immediately contact their bank or card issuer.

Customers may also contact Kitchcraft if they believe an unauthorized transaction may be connected to a Kitchcraft order.

25. Payment Information and Privacy

Payment-related information is handled through the applicable checkout and payment-processing systems.

Kitchcraft's collection and handling of personal information is also governed by the Kitchcraft Privacy Policy.

Customers should review the Privacy Policy for additional information regarding personal information, cookies, Shopify, payment providers, and data handling.

26. Payment Information We Do Not Request Through Support

For security reasons, Kitchcraft customer support will not normally require customers to send complete payment-card credentials through email or social media.

Customers should never voluntarily send:

  • Full card number
  • CVV or security code
  • Online banking password
  • Payment account password
  • One-time authentication code
  • Other sensitive security credentials

27. Payment Method Availability

Payment methods shown at checkout may vary based on transaction eligibility, payment-provider availability, card type, currency, payment settings, and security requirements.

The payment methods displayed during checkout are the methods currently available for that transaction.

28. Payment Authorization and Order Fulfillment

Successful payment authorization allows an order to proceed through the normal order-processing process.

Payment authorization does not change the terms of Kitchcraft's Shipping Policy, Returns & Refunds Policy, or Terms of Service.

29. Order Cancellation and Payments

Kitchcraft's order cancellation rules are described in the applicable store policies.

Where an eligible cancellation results in a refund, the applicable refund will be processed through the payment system used for the original transaction.

Refund timing may depend on the payment provider and customer's financial institution after Kitchcraft processes the refund.

30. Payment Currency and Refund Currency

Payments are generally processed in the currency displayed for the order.

Primary Store Currency: USD — United States Dollar

Where a payment provider or financial institution performs currency conversion, the conversion rate and any applicable foreign-transaction fees may be determined by that provider or institution.
